We enable spaceships to travel further. Conventional spaceship propulsion systems can only operate for a few minutes, whereas with our propulsion system, they can run for years as there is no need for refueling.

Can you imagine a future in which the humanity is mining asteroids and you can visit Saturn in matter of weeks?

Our propulsion system is going to make this future possible and it comes with the complicated name of – 4He Based Closed Cycle Non-combustion Electrical Powered Space Propellant-less Propulsion, let’s break it down:

It is a closed cycle, we release nothing into space except for heat – no burned fuel, no exhaust, nothing;
Non-combustion means that we are not burning anything, so it is significantly safer to operate;
Electrical powered means that this propulsion system runs purely on electricity and by using nuclear power source it can run for years with no need of refueling;
4He based means that we are utilizing the super-fluidity phase transition of Helium to release the excessive momentum into space as heat;
Space propulsion means that it is specifically designed for space traveling;
Propellant-less means that it doesn’t use propellant.

Let’s see why this propulsion will be such a game changer and how it compares with the existing rocket propulsion systems:

The rockets can run just for a few minutes, our propulsion can run for longer, years longer in-fact;
It is safer because it doesn’t involve controlled micro-explosions or the mixing of super-hot chemicals;

03/31/2024 Propellantless Space Propulsion Update:

The prototype was placed on a sensitive scale, where we observed an increase in mass due to a downward thrust of 4 mN, as demonstrated in the video. Currently, we have achieved a thrust of 20 mN. The force is constant, which indicates there is no mass loss; we conducted tests lasting over 60 minutes. This represents a significant force for space applications. For instance, with a constant acceleration of 0.1 N, a 100 kg probe could reach Mars in 120 days.

6/29/2023 Propellantless Space Propulsion Update:

We achieved a significant breakthrough with the propellantless space propulsion, with our latest prototype we are able to create a stable thrust force of ~5 millinewtons with about 700W of power, with no fuel & no exhaust, just electricity. We are currently working to increase the thrust to 1N but 5 millinewtons is more than many satellites need to maintain orbit, below is a photo of the engineering team to memorize the moment.

9/1/2022 Update, we completed the first working prototype of our propellantless space propulsion:

Currently working on the second iteration to increase the amount of force it generates.

4/11/2022 Update, we finally achieved a stable process for our propellantless space propulsion :
